District Business Meetings

District 23 business meetings are held every other month beginning in January of each year. Typically, the meeting is held the third Saturday of the month from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. District Business Meetings are listed on the Events page.

District Officers, Coordinators, and Group Reps meet to discuss topics that pertain to sustaining Al-Anon and Alateen groups in Santa Cruz and San Benito counties. All Al-Anon and Alateen members are welcome to attend district business meetings. When decisions need to be made, the Group Rep in attendance or their designated Alternate Group Rep may cast a vote. Officers, Coordinators, and Al-Anon/Alateen members do not vote.

Minutes taken during a district meeting are approved during the next business meeting, For example, the final minutes for May will be approved and then posted in July.
